Rabia Malik, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Rush University Medical Center (RUMC). She completed her neurology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Following which she was a clinical neurophysiology/neuromuscular fellow at University of California, San Francisco. 

She currently serves as the director of the MDA Care Center and EMG Lab at RUMC. Dr. Malik established the "nerve restoration clinic" at Rush which is a multidisciplinary clinic designed to evaluate and treat patients that require surgical interventions for peripheral nerve tumors and injuries. She serves on the medical advisory board for the Conquer Myasthenia Gravis Foundation and has served as a member on multiple AANEM (American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine) committees.

She was the site PI for several clinical trials for myasthenia gravis and has worked on designing safety protocols for drug trials in Angelman and Rett syndrome.    

Dr. Malik has a keen interest in education. She serves as the associate program director for the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, is the OSCE lead for the neurology clerkship and is the director of the departmental grand rounds.
