Martha L. Finch, MD is a pediatric neurologist and neuromuscular specialist at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She completed fellowship training in Pediatric Neuromuscular Medicine and specializes in the care of children with neuromuscular disorders, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, congenital muscular dystrophies, congenital myopathies, hereditary neuropathies, and neuromuscular junction disorders. Her clinical interests include emerging gene and molecular therapies, autonomic nervous system disorders, and hereditary neuropathies.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Finch is actively involved in neuromuscular research and medical education. She serves as a sub-investigator on multiple clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for pediatric neuromuscular diseases and has authored peer-reviewed publications describing rare and novel neuromuscular conditions. As an educator, she teaches medical students, residents, and fellows and is committed to advancing awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of neuromuscular disorders. Her work focuses on improving outcomes for children and families affected by conditions such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy through clinical care, research, and advocacy.
